    A. Nicole Ward is the co-possessor of Sinsational Cakes Bakery in North Richland Hills, Texas. She manages four employees, besides as front and dorsum of house operations. She takes pride in providing customers with first-class customer service and desserts. Nicole'southward workday begins early on, with a 5:30 am wake up call. She is at the baker until at least 6:30 every evening. "I dear creating and experimenting with new recipes," she says.

    Nicole is also becoming a familiar face on The Food Network, winning on two of the network'south programs—"Cake Wars" and "Cupcake Wars." In 2016, she won "Cake Wars' Happy Birthday Hippopotamus Fashion" episode, in which she wowed the judges with a white vanilla edible bean block with balsamic strawberry and mascarpone filling. As the winner, she took home a $10,000 prize.

    Nicole also came out on top in "Cupcake Wars" in 2013. "I'm still pinching myself. I savor challenging myself with new recipes and block ideas. I dear meeting people who take the same passion I do. I simply dear to talk about nutrient and cake."

Based in Texas, Evelyn creates cooking classes and manages a team of chefs.     Was there a defining moment when you knew y'all were destined to get a creative professional?

    As a child, I designed my own clothes. Eventually my mom'south friends started to pay for my designs. I earned a scholarship to the premiere fashion design institute in India— just I had a science scholarship as well, and my parents wanted me to become a caste in microbiology. It took a lot of effort to convince my parents [to let me to attend design school]! I accept no doubt that teaching fashion was my destiny.

    How practise yous weave your professional person groundwork into the classroom feel?

    I've worked in the fashion industry in a creative capacity, likewise as in manufacturing, and I've owned and operated an evening and conjugal clothing shop. I've seen the way industry change forth with applied science. Fabrics have become more than interesting and design has become more practical. Photography students accept pictures, video students take intendance of the music and videos, and so forth. Working together, combining all their talents, they brand the event a success.

Recently, students in one of my classes had the opportunity to work not only with Graphic Design students, only with students from a school in Troyes, France.
